今回は、古着で購入した2012年リリースのバブアー×マーガレットハウエルのパーカーを洗濯し、ワックスを掛けていきます。（I wash and Re – wax a 2012 released Babour x Margaret Howell hoodie that I bought secondhand.）

丸洗いに使うアイテム（Items used in hand-wash）
今回は汚れが気になるわけでもなく、表面的な油を落としたいというくらいの目的、かつ、色を落としたくもないので、以下の中性洗剤を使用します。（This time, I’m not concerned about stains, I just want to get rid of the surface wax, and I don’t want to get rid of the color, so I’ll use the neutral detergent below.）
古いバブアーでニオイが臭く、古いワックスを落とし切りたい方は、以下の洗剤やブラシを使って洗うことも考えられます。
手洗いの方法（How to hand wash）
比較的キレイなバブアーを洗うときにおススメの方法です。（This is a great way to wash a relatively clean BARBOUR.）
放置時間もあるので、実質作業時間は１時間もかかりません。（It takes less than an hour to actually work because it has to be left unattended.）
プロセス（Process）
１：バケツにお湯を溜めて、そこにバブアーをぶち込み20分ほど放置（Fill a bucket with hot water, put your BARBOUR in the bucket and leave it for about 20 minutes.）
２：バケツに中性洗剤を入れて、そこにバブアーをぶち込み20分ほど放置し、手で揉み洗いする。（Put a neutral detergent in a bucket, put a bubbler in it, leave it for about 20 minutes, and rub it in with your hands.）
３：手洗いで3回すすぐ（Rinse three times by water by hand）
４：洗濯機で30秒脱水する。皴になるので短時間がおススメ。（Drain in the washing machine for 30 seconds.A short time is recommended because it causes wrinkles.）
５：2日間、陰干しする。（Dry in the shade for two days.）

あまり変化が分かりませんが、しっとり感が無くなり、良いニオイになりました。（I don’t know much about the change, but it turned out to be a good smell.）
バブアーのリプルーフに使うアイテム（Items used for BARBOUR’s Re-Wax）
バブアーのリプルーフの方法（How to Re-Wax BARBOUR）
結構な重労働で汗をかきました。ちょっとした運動になります。所要時間は１時間程度です。（I sweated through a lot of hard work. It’s a little exercise. It takes about an hour.）
プロセス（Process）
１：バブアーのワックス缶を湯煎して溶かす。（Warm and melt a can of BARBOUR wax in hot water.）
２：溶かしたワックスをバブアーに塗る。この時点ではムラは気にしなくてもOK。この作業が１番ハード。３０分くらい掛かります。（Apply melted wax to the BARBOUR. You don’t have to worry about unevenness at this point. This work is the hardest. It takes about 30 minutes.）
３：ドライヤーでバブアーを温め、ドライヤーをかけながら豚毛ブラシでブラッシングします。（Warm the BARBOUR with a hair dryer and brush with a pig bristle brush while using the hair dryer.）
４：３０分～１時間ほどワックスを放置して浸透させた後、乾拭きします。（Let the wax soak for 30 minutes to 1 hour, then wipe dry.）
５：２日陰干しして完了（After drying in the shade for two days, it’s done.）
